GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY -- MAY 3rd

With twenty eight Legends Cars in the pits and rain not to far west of the speedway the feature line up was determined by two 14 car heats with Jason coming from 8^th starting position to claim the win in heat one and Tom winning heat two after starting in the ninth position. The top six finishers in each heat were handicapped by their Grandview point average with Jason starting sixth and Tom eighth, and TJ started 27^th in the 28 car field. At the drop of the green Randy Kissinger was quick to take command but Jason charged up through the pack to challenge him on the third lap and by the sixth lap Jason was in front of the field. At lap nine Tom was putting pressure on Rochelle for the top spot. Despite his best efforts Mayberry had to settle for second place to Rochelle with Josh Morrow, the feature winner the last time the Legends performed at Grandview, grabbing third. Paul Rochelle finished fourth and Justin Grim claimed fifth. TJ finished 22^nd after going to the back for a spin at the halfway point.
